Frequently asked questions

Are church services being held during the pandemic?

Church services are almost back to normal but you are expected to sanitise your hands before entering the church .

I have never been to church before, how will I know what to do?

When you come in, you'll be given any booklets you need to follow the service or it will be on screen. Everything should be explained by the person leading the service. Staying for coffee afterwards can be a good way of getting to know us better.

What should I wear?

Wear whatever makes you comfortable – some wear ties and jackets, others wear jeans and t-shirts.

What about my children?

We welcome children of all ages. There are soft toys in church for the very young and Sunday school and youth group on the 1st, 3rd and 5th Sunday of the month for children of school age.

What if I am late?

Please don’t worry - just slip in. One of our welcomers will make sure you find a seat. It is better to be late than not come at all.

Should I put something in the collection?

There is an offering plate at the back of the Church and we take collections at some services. Donations are always welcome but only if you are able.
