Recycling

There is a recycling drop-off bin in the Southwater parish church carpark that takes some items which cannot be recycled in the council's kerbside bins or at  local supermarkets

These are the items currently accepted for recycling 

  • Jewellery, watches and unused currency
  • Mobile phones, film,digital & video cameras (broken is fine)
  • Sat-navs, ipods, MP3 players, games consoles, tablet computers
  • Unwanted cables & leads
  • Water filters & ink cartridges
  • Pens, felt tips, biros, correction fluid, markers, highlighters
  • Pencils & crayons (separat from plastic eriting implements)
  • Lipstick, blusher, eyeliner, mascara & other beauty products
  • Ferrero Rochet boxes, trays,aluminium wrappers, Kinder foil
  • Marigold  & other latex, nitrate, vinyl & polythene single use gloves
  • Plastic wrapping from bread & bakery products. 
  • Warburton wax wrap
  • Plastic packaging from cakes, biscuits, crackers
  • Bottle tops, milk bottle tops, wine corks (metal & big tops in kerbside bin)
