Southwater Annual Remembrance Day

Sunday 10th November 2024 at 10.50 a.m.

"We will remember them"

Southwater veterans will meet at the War Memorial, Lintot Square to remember those that fell in the Great War, World War Two, subsequent conflicts and wars. 

Representatives from recognised voluntary organisations will be taking part

Road closures may be in force

1. Station Road (the access road to the Southwater Health Centre) 

2. The Downslink Way (where it crosses the Worthing Road to the point where it joins the access road to the Southwater Health Centre) 

3. Lintot Square (Access Road)

Southwater veterans attend Remembrance Service at

 Southwater veterans and residents as trumpeters Milo and Arron from Christ's Hospital school sound the Last Post.

 

 

 

Veterans and public lay wreaths at Southwaters new

Wreaths were laid by Bob Piper and other representatives of the veterans followed by those from the District Council, Parish Council, Southwater Methodist Church, Scouts, Guides and local residents.
