Baptism, Weddings and Funerals

A baptism can be a really important moment in your life, whether you are an adult or a young person being baptised, or whether you are parents wanting your children to be baptised.

Weddings are equally important occasions, and need a considerable amount of planning ahead of time to make the day run smoothly.  On our Wedding page you will find the application form you need to get things started, a diary to see whether the date you want is free, together with helpful information to plan the church service and a guide as to how much it will cost to be married in church.

When you suffer a bereavement, it is always a difficult time.  If you are a close relative you may have to organise the service.  Even if you are not, you will still be affected and need someone to talk to.  We hope that the light a candle page will be a source of comfort.

On our bereavement page there are some helpful links to resources for a funeral service, together with details of who can have a service in church, and who can be buried in the churchyard.  There are also guidelines as to what memorials can be placed in the churchyard.
