Praying Together at 
Holy Innocents

‘Praying Together’ is the name of the informal and interactive prayer group that meets in the homes of varying church members each month.

The aim of these meetings is to pray around a theme or topical issue, often using scripture and a variety of other stimuli as aids to provoke thought, discussion and of course prayer.

The sessions are flexible and a participant can be as quiet or as active as he or she chooses, taking as much or as little as required. Participants attend according to how available they are and there is no fixed attendance requirement.

Although there are themes allocated to each month, these can be dropped if a more important or significant need arises.  Praying Together was initiated in January 2009. It is led by ordinary members of the congregation and occasionally by outside guests.
