Messy Church

The very first messy church took place on Sunday 22nd October and had the theme of "A Messy Harvest". This was also following on from the various Harvest fundraising for the Quetcha people in Bolivia on behalf of Tear Fund.

45 plus children and their parents turned up on a very wet and gloomy Sunday afternoon to take part in the various activities on offer, these included;

Creating Snake Pizzas, Quetcha people biscuits, Seed collages, Bulb planting, Potato printing and Sprout painting, Colouring. 

Plus we enjoyed tasting the enormous array of cakes on offer to all.

The event was concluded with a dance and a traditional Harvest song sung to a Latin beat.

Messy Church is at 4pm on the first sunday of every month at Southwater Junior School (located here).
