The Parish Magazine |

Our Parish Magazine

Each month, the church publishes Southwater News.  It is distributed free of charge to all homes in the village.

We are extremely grateful to the many advertisers without whom we would not be able to produce the magazine.

Meet the Editor

Sue has lived in Southwater for nearly nine years and is a governor of Southwater Infant School.  She has two school age daughters and a saint for a husband!  Before Sue Howell - Southwater News Editorthe birth of her children Sue worked as a management consultant specialising in helping businesses develop the way they and their employees worked.  Sue has loved looking after her young children at home, but with them soon at school full time, is relishing the opportunity to put her skills to good use within the community.

Working with Sue will be a small team who will help with covering the many activities featured in the magazine, maintain contact with the advertisers, and ensure the smooth running of the magazine.  The key members of this team are Sandra Laker and Alice Bray.

Sue and the team will be working out of the magazine office several afternoons a week, and can be contacted on 01403 730543.  There is an answerphone to take messages when they are not there.  It is probably easier though to contact them by email if you can at this address.  Thank you.

What would they like to see in the magazine?

We would like to have details of any planned village activity, together with reports and pictures ofwhat is going on to put alongside the details of the village organisation published in the magazine.  If you would like to submit any content or details of activities or groups, please contact the editorial team.

Similarly, if you would like to advertise in the magazine, please contact Sue Howell and the team on the above number or email.

As the magazine is delivered free of charge, we are dependant upon a team of volunteers to promptly deliver it around the village.  If you would like to help with this, please contact Eunice Pearson, who organises the delivery of the magazines.
